Judging

The following details pertain to the Marketer of the Year judging process. Visit CMO of the Year and Collegiate Marketer of the Year to find judging criteria for these awards.

All Marketer of the Year entries will be reviewed by a judging panel.  Each entry will have the opportunity to win the following awards:

Category Winner – One award given to each of the sixteen categories (evaluations based on the judging panel’s voting/scores)

Overall Marketer of the Year Award – One award given to one of the sixteen Category Winners (evaluations based on the judging panel’s voting/scores)

Judging Panel Evaluation

The DFW AMA Marketer of the Year Awards judging panel will evaluate each submission based on the questions below.  Each question will be ranked on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest.  The entry with the highest total score, within each of the sixteen categories, will receive a Category Winner award and be eligible to win the overall Marketer of the Year Award.

The judging panel will be comprised of a select group of marketing professionals who are industry experts within each specific award category.  The judging panel can, at their discretion, move an entry into another category if they feel it is better suited for the submission.
